Privacy Policy

Effective July 27, 2026. Last updated August 11, 2026.

This policy explains how MathMigo LLC handles your data.

1. What We Collect

Account information such as parent name, email address, timezone, and sign-in details. Child profile information you provide, such as first name and math progress. Worksheet photos, answers, grading results, generated worksheets, and basic device, usage, analytics, and error-reporting data needed to operate the beta.

2. How We Use It

To provide MathMigo, generate worksheets, grade submitted work, show progress, support accounts, debug errors, protect the service, and improve educational quality. We do not sell personal data and never use child data for advertising.

3. Children's Privacy

MathMigo is operated by and for parents and guardians. The account holder must be 18 or older and the parent or legal guardian of any child they set up. Children do not create or use accounts; a child profile is simply information the adult provides and controls: typically a first name, plus the worksheet photos, answers, and progress generated as the child practices. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children, we never use child data for advertising, and we never sell it. Consistent with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the parent or guardian who created the account may review their child's information or delete it at any time from within the app or by contacting us.

4. Third-Party Services

We use a small set of service providers to operate the beta: Railway (hosting and object storage), OpenAI (worksheet generation and grading), PostHog (product analytics), Sentry (error tracking), Cloudflare (network security and off-provider backups), and RevenueCat together with Apple (subscriptions, payment processing, and TestFlight beta distribution). Payment details are handled by Apple and are never stored on our servers. Providers receive only the data needed to perform their services for us.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

Account and child learning data is kept while your account is active or while needed to provide the beta. You can request deletion or delete your account in the app. Active records are deleted from the service. Off-provider database backups expire after 60 days, and deleted or replaced storage objects can remain in backup archives for up to 90 days. Limited copies may also remain briefly in logs or security records until those systems expire. Beta testers appear in Apple TestFlight as part of beta distribution.
